Bruce Walker is a registered architect, first in New Zealand, then in New South Wales, Australia, and currently in Queensland, Australia. He has been working in the construction industry since 1993, with experience ranging from support and logistics, to practical on-site building experience, to architecture. He has worked on an extensive range of building typologies: small house extensions, warehouses, mixed use residential, commercial offices, shopping malls, cinema complexes, hotels, apartments, hospitals (including the AU $2bn Sunshine Coast University Hospital), and the AU $3bn Queens Wharf casino development in Brisbane. Recently he worked as a set designer on the Avatar 2 and 3 sequels, where he engaged in fabrication-level digital delivery.
Bruce has been using ARCHICAD professionally since 2004 (v8.1). He has written the BIM procedures for two of his previous offices, and has also had the opportunity to use Revit professionally– developing families and BIM conventions in those offices too. His foray into GDL scripting began in 2015, and he has been developing custom content since.
