Dr. Carol Hon

Dr Carol Hon is a Senior Lecturer and Research Fellow (DECRA) at the School of Architecture and Built Environment, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). She has a Quantity Surveying background and is passionate about improving construction health and safety. She conducts interdisciplinary research using the latest technology to reduce construction accidents and enhance safety performance. She is the Safety Theme Coordinator of Building 4.0 Cooperate Research Centre (CRC), an industry-led research initiative co-funded by the Australian Government. She teaches 4D and 5D Building Information Modelling (BIM) and is a committee member of BrisBIM.
